"MAXJULI XL Blue Light Blocking Glasses for Big Heads, Men, Computer/Gaming/TV/Phones Glasses. Style 8108"
So, just like the creator of this big head brand, I have a large head – at least an 8 1/2 in hat size. It's hard to find big enough hats, of course, but also sunglasses, safety glasses and blue blockers that are wide enough for my big skull. I was offered this pair of wide framed. retro style safety glasses with deep orange lenses for review, and I'm very pleased with them.
Not only do the deep orange lenses allow my eyes to relax as soon as I put on these glasses, but the large, retro shape of the lenses and frame look kind of cool in my opinion. Most importantly, they're UV400 rated, and ANSI 78 which means basic safety glasses for basic impact resistance. The sturdy but quite flexible frame is light weight which lets me wear them comfortably for hours at a time, whether working/playing on the laptop, or outside mowing on the tractor, watching TV before going to bed, and even cutting glare when I'm driving at night.
The current price of $25.99 is reasonable for decent safety/blue blocking glasses, and I'll report back regarding their durability over time. (It's been about a month so far, and so good!)
They came with a thin but useful black drawstring bag which can double as a lens cleaning cloth. Plus, they’ve got a really good selection of wide sunglasses, snow goggles and other glasses on the MaxJuli website for about the same price as these ones.
