OMG I can see
Update: after leaving them on my air purifier for 2 nights, the smell is thankfully gone. So relieved. Okay, so I literally just bought these since they were cheap and I wanted to see if they’d work – and holy cow I can see now. Dang, maybe I’ll save up and try to see an optometrist if I can manage to afford one somewhere in this capitalist hellscape. In any case these are built better than I would expect for $7 glasses. I think they’re ugly and the frames are way thicker than I’d want personally, but I’m not over here trying to win any beauty pageants. They’re $7. What do you want? They’re not gonna be cute and personalized. My one complaint is that they STINK. They smell like really cheap perfumey laundry detergent and the smell persisted even after wiping them off with an all purpose cleanser. I’m reluctant to wash with soap and water because I am afraid the metal bits will rust. I’m going to stick them on top of my air purifier and hope for the best. A huge relief to be able to see my phone and embroidery now though. Phew.
