This is great if you're looking for a smaller, quiet treadmill and would be great for walking while watching TV or working at a standing desk.
The walking deck is much shorter and more narrow than a gym treadmill, which means this is compact, but it also means that you need to be pretty sure footed, and it's not great for runs or even super fast walks. It also doesn't have a front stand, so if you need something to hold on to for balance, I would look for something else, but otherwise, it's really good.
It has a display in front of the track, and a handheld remote control with four buttons to turn the machine on and off, and to speed up and slow down. Maximum speed is 4 mph (a 15 minute mile), so this is best for walking or a slow jog if you're sure footed enough to stay in the relatively small walking area. The belt is nice and grippy feeling, and it comes with a bottle of lubricant to keep the belt flexible.
It's 6" high, so you can fit it under some beds, but we just set ours off to the side. We use this in our bedroom to get some steps in while watching TV, but as I said, it would also be really good for a standing desk. With a standing desk or a handhold, I think I could walk faster, but without it, I end up stepping off the treadmill once in a while.
