    Look its expensive for a reason it’s specifically made for Allison’s. But I bought this along with other fluids (5gallons to be specific) and I got it before anything else. I haven’t gotten to put it in my duramax yet but I’m in a lot of groups and I’ve owned mine for awhile, we all agree this is the best thing for your engine. And if anyone is wonder about their transfer case fluid AMSOIL is a great brand also expensive but you don’t have to change that oil very much either so it worth it. Also I recommend the 2 1/2qts 5w-30 filled by the speed sensor.

    Buy 2 gallons and the external filter. Use the old magnet. After 1,000 miles, do it again. Allison states that the internal filter does not need to be replaced unless you are doing a rebuild. Learned that on a Duramax forum. Check for yourself. Make sure you fill the external filter up prior to installing. Buy 2 gallons, it requires 1.7 gallons. I can’t stress enough to anyone to read Duramax forum to get more insight on this. Best of luck. OH and Transynd works great. Shifts well, trans runs cooler and I’m happy.

    I think there is a ts668 or tes 648 fluid out now but it was difficult to find so I went with this for Allison. Seems to shifting fine and dandy 2010 Sierra 2500 197,000
